Nate and Rachel have a shared history that almost dooms their assignment before it begins, but their dedication to justice proves to be a bigger motivator. Ethan and the cult members are a formidable foe, and they have a very interesting plan in store for the new couple. This is the first Brenda Novak book that I have read, but it will not be my last. She engages the reader with multiple viewpoints, intense action, and mounting passion. WHITE HEAT delivers a satisfying suspenseful romance.
