Recently divorced Annie Winston is going home to Big Knob, Indiana for her sisters wedding. Ordinarily, the former Dairy Queen would be ecstatic to go home, but her new found friend since her divorce has been desert and she is not proud of her extra twenty pounds. She figures a few stories about the small town would keep her journalism career on track and maybe her mind off the snacks.

Jeremy Dunstan should be happy being the Best man in the wedding, but more so he is looking forward to seeing Annie who he has lusted after since High School. Now, Jeremy owns an internet coffee shop named click-or-treat and has been trying his hand at a little magic to impress Annie. As she has to submit her reports, she will be spending some time in his shop.

Local witches Dorcas and Ambrose are matchmakers. Usually their cliental is more of the methodical type, such as Dee-Dee the lake monster and George the Dragon but have decided to try their hand with Jeremy and Annie; the humans. Ambrose teaches Jeremy some magic that not only impresses Annie, but Jeremy as well. Will this be enough to get her attention?

Jeremy plans a special day of kayaking which ends up with them soaking wet, but awakens their attraction for the other, not to mention a breaking story line for Annie to report, which may just keep her in town a bit longer. Is this the work of Dorcas and Ambrose, or is it real?

Both Jeremy and Annie realize that they share a love for each other, but because of their lives in separate towns, they can not be together and will not admit the love that has formed. Will they come to their senses and merge their lives together, or will they take their chemistry as just that, the literal sense of chemistry brought to them by their local witches?

Wild & Hexy is a wonderfully delightful story that merges fantasy with the chemistry of love and romance. There are many laugh out loud moments when Dorcas and Ambrose are involved. A real cheer for the geek story to keep you smiling throughout the entire book.
